Inmate Blames NASCAR for Criminal Activity and SUES

February 23rd, 2009 | Posted in Daily Dumbass

Daily Dumbass taken from KCMQ.com. I have a personal issue with inmates being able to file lawsuits. This one is not only a perfect example but it takes the cake.

“Just when you think you’ve heard it all: An inmate in federal prison has filed a 23 million dollar lawsuit claiming NASCAR is responsible for his criminal activity, including speeding and credit card fraud.  Jonathon Riches filed suit in U.S. District Court in Richmond, Virginia, stating that watching races “influenced him to speed…doing 135 miles per hour and getting tickets.”  He also says his NASCAR addiction caused him to use stolen credit cards to attend races and to buy racing paraphenalia.  Yeah…good luck getting a judge to rule in your favor on this rediculous lawsuit! ”

Hopefully, this has given you a laugh for the day.
