Man Becomes Worlds Dumbest Criminal For “Balloon Boy” Stunt

Today’s dumbass award goes to Richard and Mayumi Heene, whose balloon boy story turned out to be a hoax. They did the stunt in hopes of landing a reality TV show….and it involved reporting that their 6-year-old son Falcon had floated away in a giant helium weather balloon…..when he was really safe and sound at home. The couple now face conspiracy charges, contributing to the delinquincy of a minor, making a false report to authorities and attempting to influence a public servant. Meanwhile, child protective services have been contacted to investigate teh well-being of the Heenes’ three sons. Some people will do ANYTHING for a few minutes of fame. Taken from KCMQ.com.
